Bale Mountains National Park is 2,400 square kilometers in area, covering a wide range of habitats and ranging in altitude from 1,500 to 4,377 meters, southern Ethiopia’s highest point.

After an early breakfast you will fly to the ancient city of Axum; a city with more than 3000 years of history and origin of world civilization. This can be witnessed by land marks in the center of the city among them; the stale royal tombs: which are considered to be probably the oldest monolithic stands in the world, the church compound of St. Mary of Zion is the seat of the true Moose’s Ark of the covenant, the Queen of Sheba’s palace, King Kaleb’s and Gebremeskel’s palace and Archeological Museum which are situated in the heart of the city.
Morning Fly to the Holly city of Lalibela on your arrival a brief check in to your Hotel and head to visit the mystical rock hewn churches of Lalibela. The small town of Lalibela in Ethiopia is home to one of the world’s most astounding sacred sites: eleven rock-hewn churches, each carved entirely out of a single block of granite with its roof at ground level.
After breakfast we drive to Yimrhane Kirstos through the small village of Bilbala. The built-up cave church of Yimrhane Kirstos itself predates the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. This is one of the most beautiful and colorful cave churches, built from marble, wood and beautifully decorated from inside and outside with remarkable architectural skill. In the other side of the cave, you will also see many mummified bodies of pilgrims from centuries ago. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Drive to Arbaminch through the Great Rift Valley Lakes wondering cultural and natural wilderness attractions, the worthwhile sceneries, local villages and life styles.
Drive to Dorze Village of Chencha town situated 3000m above sea level with the highest peak of Guge mountain. Dorze people who are famous for their unique elephant face houses built from bamboo tree, Unique dancing, traditional weaving and the unique life style.
Afternoon you will visit the ‘crocodile market on Lake Chamo. This Lake is known for its enormous population of aquatic life such as the Nile Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and different species of birds.
Morning drive to Jinka via konso on the way you may see Benna and Tsemai tribes with their interesting dressing style, different beads and ornamentation.
On your arrival to Jinka, you will directly drive to one of the famous and dominating tribes in south Omo called Ari tribes. They are privileged to have the largest territory in the area. Ari’s possess fertile lands allowing them to have several types of plantations.
Late Afternoon visit the ethnological museum of Jinka (South Omo Zone Museum & research center). It is perched on the hill overlooking Jinka town on the northeast. The Museum has different display and cultural materials, which are the reflection of the different ethnic groups living in the South Omo Zone. Overnight –Jinka
Early in the morning drive to visit the Mursi tribes through Mago NP where you may encounter some game animals that suddenly emerge to the road .The Mursi are known for their Patterns, lip plate, earlobes and stick fighting (Donga).
Afterward, drive to Turmi, home of the Hamar tribe famous that enjoys body decoration like the other Omo area tribes and wear quantities of colorful beads and clay hair buns with Ostrich feathers, bull-jumping ceremonies and Evangadi dances. They are one of the most known and second dominant tribe in the southern Ethiopia. On the way, visit the colorful Dimeka Market (Every Tuesday/ Saturday) small village town in the districts of Hammer tribe. In the morning, you will be heading to Korcho, home to the Karo tribe. The people have settled around the eastern bank of the Omo River. The Karo tribe is very well known for their body paintings, for beautifying purposes. From this particular village, the view of the Omo River is magnificent, the Omo River flowing down South into the Turkana Lake.
Late afternoon you will drive to one of the nearest Hamer village to visit their way of life. Unique traditional dance and bull jumping ceremony would be optional and depends on the season
Drive to Arbaminch, on the way visit Konso one of the world Heritage town. Konso, is known for its stone wall village and cultural landscape particularly their intricately terraced hillsides.
They village is also known for fine woven materials, traditional wooden curved totem “waka” as a symbol of grave marks for their clan chief and warriors.
Morning drive from Arbaminch to Addis Ababa en route you will visit the world heritage site of Tiya and the Stone Age archaeological site of Melka kunturie. Evening you will have fare well dinner at one of the traditional restaurants in Addis Ababa and fly back home.
